Basic Qualifications:
- Associates Degree or higher OR 5+ years of relevant experience
- Supply Chain or Logistics experience – parts ordering, planning, or scheduling
- 2+ years of customer service or customer support experience (handling escalations directly with customers)
- SAP experience
- MS office products experience
- Strong with Excel – ability to apply formulas, etc
Plusses:
- Semiconductor Industry experience
- Power BI or Power Pivot
- Data Analytics experience
- Bachelors Degree or higher
Job Overview:
The supply chain analyst will be a key contributor in converting part demands into a Supply Plan that can be executed to maintain customer KPIs while balancing TEL business goals. Supply plan may include material forecasts, safety stock, min/max levels, or other material supply strategies. The supply chain analyst must be able to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers while balancing the internal supply plan alignment with long term product line and business objectives.
- Execution of TEL spare parts inventory planning strategies utilizing short- and long-term plans to meet technical requirements and tool up time goals.
- Plans, schedules, and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle.
- Anticipating factors that might influence demand, such as seasonal slowdowns or promotions.
- Maintaining enough inventory to meet demands without overstocking.
- Collaborating with operations, production, and other supply chain department team members.
- Main point of contact to manage part escalations.
- Performance to meet customer targeted KPIs.
- Prepare and conduct analysis to support critical decision-making.
- Manage consignment program with customer including adjustment of consignment levels and avoiding low/ zero-bin.
- Works with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize parts requirements based on customer and ramp demands.
- Ability to handle complaints, escalations, provide appropriate solutions for customers and follow-up with resolutions including managing assigned actions with the customer.
